Couple Believes They Have Underwater Photo of Holloway’s Remains

Well, it’s worth an investigation. Maybe yes; maybe no. I know if it was my child missing, I’d want to know.

Couple Believes They Have Underwater Photo of Natalee Holloway’s Remains

The photo taken by John and Patti Muldowney of Manheim last fall was turned over to the FBI, because John says he has a gut feeling it may be the missing Alabama honor student who disappeared in Aruba nearly five years ago.

“We did receive the photo, and it was sent to the lead agent down in Miami who handles that area in the Caribbean,”
Special Agent Frank Burton Jr., a spokesman for the FBI’s field office in Philadelphia, told the newspaper.

However, it’s a mystery as to what happened to the photo after that.

“It just seems so strange that that girl never showed up, and here we are right off the shoreline, right where she disappeared, and there’s a body lying there,” John Muldowney,

Patti Muldowney took the shot while snorkeling near the Caribbean island. Only later did the couple notice one photo shows what could be a human corpse or skeleton..

In December 2007, authorities officially closed the case.

CBO: Obamacare Would Cost Over $2 Trillion

That Medicare Advantage cut is going to hurt my partially paralyzed Mom big-time. Thanks Washington. I thought you planned to help the needy and less fortunate. Since she’s our responsibility, soon you are going to have us in the same boat as she. You want all of us on your Plantation, don’t you?

CBO: Obamacare Would Cost Over $2 Trillion

The CBO’s most recent analysis is out, and it’s not likely to convince wavering House Democrats to jump to the Obamacare side of the fence.  Even the Democrats are granting that the latest version of their proposed health care overhaul would cost $69 billion more than the previous version.  According to the CBO, this version would siphon even more money out of Medicare, make even further cuts to Medicare Advantage, and levy even higher taxes and fines on the American people.

President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and their allies, are cheerfully citing “ten year” costs of $940,000,000,000.00 — apparently believing this to be far more palatable figure than $1 trillion.
How would we pay for all of this?  According to the CBO, by diverting $1.1 trillion away from already barely-solvent Medicare
Among the Medicare cuts would be cuts of $25,000 in Medicare Advantage benefits per enrollee Read more at weeklystandard.com

Obama surrenders gulf oil to Moscow

FTA: "Last year, the U.S. government even helped Brazil underwrite offshore drilling in the Tupi oil field near Rio de Janeiro." Can you believe that? Do you think they'll give us a discount?

The Administration is working towards forcing the Country to "go green" which will reward and enrich his supporters and their philosophy while punishing the dreaded en... read more

Obama surrenders gulf oil to Moscow
1 of 1

The Obama administration is poised to ban offshore oil drilling on the outer continental shelf until 2012 or beyond. Meanwhile, Russia is making a bold strategic leap to begin drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico. While the United States attempts to shift gears to alternative fuels to battle the purported evils of carbon emissions, Russia will erect oil derricks off the Cuban coast.

Offshore oil production makes economic sense. It creates jobs and helps fulfill America’s vast energy needs. It contributes to the gross domestic product and does not increase the trade deficit. Higher oil supply helps keep a lid on rising prices, and greater American production gives the United States more influence over the global market.

Drilling is also wildly popular with the public.Read more at washingtontimes.com

Are US-Israeli Relations Headed for a Train Wreck?

Written by Joel Rosenberg, a strong Christian committed to the Israelis' right to their Land with Jerusalem as it's Capitol.

The anti-Israel Obama Administration is using this opportunity to further isolate Israel and undermine the long-standing strategic, governmental, and values connection between the 2 Countries. By doing so they are aligning with the ant... read more

Are U.S.-Israeli Relations Headed for a Train Wreck?
During Vice President Joe Biden’s trip to Jerusalem last week to show American support for Israel, some lower-level officials in the Israeli bureaucracy decided it would be a good time to announce the construction of 1,600 new homes in a Jewish neighborhood of East Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority immediately went ballistic
Netanyahu immediately apologized, saying he had not authorized the announcement to be made during the VP’s trip
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton phoned Netanyahu and reamed him out for forty-three minutes,
The State Department called in Ambassador Oren last week and reprimanded him severely

First things first: The Israeli government has every right to build homes for its own citizens in its own capital.
Second, the Obama administration is dramatically overreacting to this incident, to its discredit.
Third, Prime Minister Netanyahu was right to apologize over the timing of the announcement, and not the substance. Read more at corner.nationalreview.com

NEMJ: 46% family practitioners will feel forced out..if ObamaCare passes

I could not agree more. Husband & I have the most wonderful doctor. To think that he would have to close his office is a nightmare for us. Why, of why won’t Congress listen to those who actually *provide* health care???!!!

NEMJ poll: 46% of family practitioners will feel forced out of medicine if ObamaCare passes

The New England Journal of Medicine, hardly a bastion of conservative thought, polled health-care providers to determine their reaction to ObamaCare, and discovered that it has many doctors looking for the exits.  Almost half of all general-practice doctors would feel compelled to leave medicine altogether if it passes
  • 62.7% of physicians feel that health reform is needed but should be implemented in a more targeted, gradual way, as opposed to the sweeping overhaul that is in legislation.
  • The public option is deeply unpopular among physicians, with only 29% in favor of it.  Forty-five percent would either retire or quit if it passed, and 71% believe their income would fall with a public option — probably from experience with Medicare and Medicaid.
If we want to maintain access to the health-care system, we need to maintain and increase the provider supply.Read more at hotair.com

NBC poll: 17% approve of Congress

Who are those 17%???? Obviously they aren’t aware of what Congress is doing to their Country and the futures.

NBC poll: 17% approve of Congress

If Americans are divided about how their congressman should vote on the health-care bill, the same can’t be said for their views on Congress.

What’s more, given the opportunity, half (50%) say they would vote to defeat every single member of Congress, including their own representative.

Asked if they would still vote to replace every single member of Congress if that resulted in Democrats still controlling Congress, nearly three-quarters (72%) said yes.

And asked if they would still vote to replace every member if that resulted in Republicans controlling Congress, a virtually identical number (73%) said yes.

Hoyer: We May Turn Capitol Hill into a Slaughter House

He makes the comment that *they* are doing what the American people elected them to do; ie….provide affordable healthcare for everyone. OK. I can accept that. BUT now that the majority of the people know what is involved in THIS bill, they do not want it and he knows it. This man is not representing Americans. He’s seeking to circumvent them and the Constitution.

Hoyer: We May Turn Capitol Hill Into A Slaughter House

Hoyer also spoke at length about using the so-called “Slaughter solution,” a parliamentary maneuver to declare the bill passed without having members actually vote on it.

“Frankly, what we want to do is to do the Senate bill as amended by reconciliation,” he said.

Therefore, if you want to affect positively the lives of the American people and do what we said we were going to do and that is to provide expanded health care affordability and accessibility, this is the process that has been, uh …”

Realizing he was about to reveal too much of the Democratic leadership’s plans, Hoyer tried to walk the statement back:

“Strike that. We haven’t decided on a process at this point in time,” he said, to some chuckles from the press corps over his abrupt reversal.

“Other than the people in this room, do you think any American is going to make a distinction (regarding the procedure used)?” he asked.Read more at blogs.investors.com

Specter Opens Door on WH Felonies

Long read but these incidents are being lost among the health care news, earthquakes, drug murders, domestic terror activities, etc. There's something not quite right here and we're all learning that something (a lot of things) really stink in Washington. Specter Opens Door on White House Felonies

“There’s a crime called misprision of a felony. Misprision of a felony is when you don’t report a crime. So you’re getting into pretty deep areas here in these considerations.” – U.S. Senator Arlen Specter on March 12, 2010
“Right now, they’re doing the ‘I won’t confirm or deny,’ and for us, it leaves two possibilities. One is the promise of transparency in this administration is just shot. The second one is even worse, which is either Sestak is lying or the administration has done something wrong and is covering it up…” – U.S. Congressman Darryl Issa on Friday on March 12, 2010
the Sestak and Romanoff stories are reported with new information: to offer jobs for favors is in fact a federal crime, and Sestak is in effect accusing the Obama White House of doing just thatRead more at spectator.org

Ryan: This entire process has been a disgrace

This man speaks the truth…but those whose votes have been bought and many citizens who only hear sound-bites do not realize how completely foolhardy and dangerous THIS bill is. If sanity does not ultimately rule, we can all kiss our American way-of-life good-bye.

    Dead Congress Walking

The handwriting is on the wall. If this thing passes, it will be one of the freakiest and scariest things to ever happen in a US Congress.

    Dead Congress Walking

A stranger moment in politics has seldom been seen. A vast expansion of government that affects every one of the country’s 300-plus million inhabitants may be passed by a hair against fierce and fiercely repeated public opposition by a Congress that no longer speaks for its voters—most of whose members are angry and scared. They are afraid of their voters, and mad at each other, or rather, the Democrats are: The liberals are mad at the centrists, the centrists are mad at the liberals. Democrats in the House are angry at those in the Senate, and deeply suspicious of being betrayed. The centrists are also mad at Obama, for picking the wrong cause (health care and not the economy), doing it in the wrong way (big and expensive, not incremental and smaller), and pushing them to risk their careers in backing a cause and a program neither they nor their constituents want.
